Its marketing team staged a memorable celebration to showcase Somerset Medical as a state-of-the-art health care system. International opera mezzo-soprano Fredericka von Stade was invited to perform while New Jersey Gov Christine Todd Whitman was a guest at the gala black tie party.

Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY, has launched a no-holds barred campaign to attract more at-risk people to its lung cancer screening events. The campaign also aims to enroll smokers and ex-smokers in a five-year early detection study and increae the visibility of the hospital's Lung Cancer Center. The intensive, month-long marketing effort included two-precisely targeted direct mailings, radio print ads and a major billboard.
