The science behind the effectiveness of in vivo screening
Article Abstract:
The author has investigated the hypothesis about a subset of lesions where dysplastic cells fail to exfoliate. Results suggest that the Pap test cannot detect these lesions because the cells resist the identification by visual inspection of the cervix after acetic acid application.
