Cell identification and isolation on the basis of cytokine secretion: a novel tool for investigating immune responses
Article Abstract:
A method to identify cytokine secretion patterns in T cells is examined, focusing on the implications the method may have for understanding the role T cells play in immune system regulation. Evidence is presented that the method does not alter secretion patterns nor affect cell response to stimulation after removal of the agarose matrix.
