A nurse-led ward attender service in urology
Article Abstract:
The Department of Urology at East Surrey Hospital, Redhill provides acute and elective urology services to both adults and children and the service at the ward is nurse led that deals with two main groups of people who are unplanned patient attenders and planned patient attenders. A new ward is being designed as part of the trust's reconfiguration plan in recognition of the success of the nurse led services in response to the ever-increasing workload generated by ward attender service.

Article Abstract:
Bedford Hospitals NHS Trust is working together to improve the experience of nights for staff and patients. Measures are already taken to tackle issues of noise, privacy and dignity, and safety.
