Anorexics sentenced to death
Article Abstract:
A survey of 109 eating-disorders experts reveals that anorexic women are dying because many managed-care organizations refuse to cover for their badly needed treatment. A stunning 18% of the respondents claim that at least one patient from their institution has died as a direct or indirect result of managed-care coverage policies.
