The effect of previous treatment experience and incontinence severity on the placebo response of stress urinary incontinence
Article Abstract:
The relationship between previous treatment experience and baseline urinary incontinence severity with placebo response is examined. The low usage rate of pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT) in treatment naivete is a significant predictor of an increased placebo response.

Observed patient compliance with a structured outpatient bladder retraining program
Article Abstract:
Many women with a history of urinary incontinence may not participate in a bladder retraining program and even those who do may not finish the program. In a study of 123 such women, only 55 went through the program and successfully completed it.
