Motivating parents to prevent caries in their young children: One-year findings
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to compare the effects of the motivational interviewing (MI) counseling treatment with that of traditional health education on parents of young children at high risk of developing dental caries. It was found that MI could lead parents and others to accept better dental recommendations about preventing caries in their children.
