Article Abstract:
CT and MRI scans, selected as the most valuable of medical innovations in 2001, are costly scanners. A study of healthcare spending associated with the availability of new technologies found that adding freestanding MRI or CT units is associated with the availability higher outpatient spending on scans.

Lung cancer deadlier than breast cancer for women
Article Abstract:
Lung cancer has had the doubtful and little-known distinction of being the leading cancer killer of women since 1987. As per American Cancer Society, in the cases of women cancer deaths, lung cancer is responsible for 25% where as breast cancer for 15%.
