Why switch to digital radiography?
Article Abstract:
Some of the advantages of using digital radiography in dentistry like data storage, ability to enhance images, and ease of use, and disadvantages like cost of devices, thickness and rigidity of the sensor are described. Though the advantages of digital radiography have improved, the cost to convert from conventional radiography to digital is high, and the dentists would continue to convert to digital radiography slowly.
