Care teams - a practical approach to managed care
Article Abstract:
The key to managed care health services is the setting up of health teams that are responsible for overseeing the health of their patients. This shared-risk arrangement differs from other managed care programs in which the primary care physicians become the 'gatekeepers' of their patients.
