Carotid atherosclerosis is correlated with extent and severity of coronary artery disease evaluated by Myocardial perfusion Scintigraphy
Article Abstract:
The correlationship between the measure of carotid atherosclerosis with the extent and severity of coronary artery disease (CAD) in CAD patients evaluated by myocardial perfusion scintigraphy is studied. The perfusion scintigraphy was found better than angiography in detecting lower degrees of coronary atherosclerosis by using intracoronary sonography.

Plasma homocysteine level and the angiograhic extent of Coronary artery disease
Article Abstract:
The possible relationship was investigated between admission plasma homocysteine level and the angiographic extent of coronary artery disease (CAD) in the patients with CAD. There was correlation found between elevated homocysteine levels in patients with CAD and the angiographic extent of atherosclerotic disease.

Surveillance versus nonsurveillance for Femoro-Popliteal bypass grafts
Article Abstract:
Two groups of surveillance and nonsurveillance patients who went femoropopliteal bypass grafts for a short distance claudication and critical ischemia are studied. Identification of the correct lesions by analyzing graft surveillance helps to improve patency of grafts.
