Chest examination: Part 3 - Chest ausculation
Article Abstract:
Chest ausculation is defined as the process of listening, usually with a stethoscope, to breath sounds in the chest, and it is probably the single most useful technique in the diagnosis of lung disease. Procedures for assessment of breath sounds, additional breath sounds, and vocal resonance are described with illustrations.
