Chest pain centers: Surviving the accreditation process
Article Abstract:
Various chest pain centers (CPC) are being developed for a better management of the acute coronary syndrome (ACS) patient care by incorporating clinical, as well as operational considerations and practices to achieve the goal. The analysis of their work plans show that a perfect combination of education, empowerment, collaboration and accountability for the nurses is extremely essential for such a successful accreditation.
