Computed tomography colonography: colon examination or Pandora's box
Article Abstract:
The frequency and diagnostic consequences of extracolonic findings at multidetector computed tomography (MDCT) colonography are discussed. Computed tomography (CT) colonography has a lower diagnostic ability for assessment of disease outside the colon due to the use of low dose technique and lack of intravenous contrast administration.
