Doctors and torture
Article Abstract:
The U.S. medical personnel have failed to report to higher authorities about wounds that were caused by torture and neglected to take steps to interrupt this torture and other illegal procedures in Iraq Afghanistan, and Guantanamo Bay. They would take an important step towards reclaiming their role as healers by speaking out about such incidents.

A complication of cosmetic surgery

An injection of abdominal subcutaneous fat into the vertical glabelar frown lines of a 45-year-old woman caused right eye proptosis, chemosis and ptosis with reaction of the frontal muscles. The condition of the patient improved swiftly over the passing days.
