Article Abstract:
A study is conducted to determine if items in the history and examination of simple tests change the likelihood of myasthenia gravis as a diagnosis. The results suggest that the presence of certain historical features or signs might be useful in confirming the diagnosis of myasthenia.

The precision and accuracy of symptoms and signs of influenza is reviewed. Clinical findings identify patients with influenza-like illness but are not particularly useful for confirming or excluding the diagnosis of influenza.
