Dogs and Aboriginal health in Australia
Article Abstract:
The health effect on humans of dogs in Australian Aboriginal communities is unclear. There are typically many dogs in an Aboriginal community, and public health programs have been directed at keeping the dog population healthy. While there are diseases that can be passed from a dog to a human, it is not clear when the disease is passed from human to human, or dog to human.
