Don't be so sensitive!

More than 70% of women think they have sensitive skin although some experts think that only 3% to 5% actually do. The cosmetics industry has responded to this perception by marketing more products for sensitive skin. Women should pre-test a product before using regularly and those with dry or acne-prone skin should probably stay away from from them.

The antidote to aging skin?
Article Abstract:
Research studies have shown that antioxidants may slow the skin's aging process and help to prevent wrinkles and sun damage. Some cosmetics are incorporating antioxidants into their ingredients. Vitamin E and C, beta carotene, BHA, BHT and polyphenols are all antioxidants.

Many people end up harming their hair and skin by using too many products, creating problems that were originally not there. Overuse of skin-care preparations is potentially serious, possibly leading to contact dermatitis.
