Dr Osler's relapsing fever
Article Abstract:
Fever was the main topic of discussion, during the nascent stages of medicinal studies, as it was the vital sign that had troubled physicians since the dawn of recorded medical history. Carl Wunderlitch was the first to scientifically study fever and William Osler, a teacher of John Hopkins Medical School during the 1890's taught his students the importance of control of fever and to pay close attention to all aspects of fever, from its cause to effects.
