Effects of raloxifene hydrochloride on the endometrium of postmenopausal women
Article Abstract:
Raloxifene may provide the benefits of estrogen therapy in postmenopausal women without causing growth of the endometrium. Raloxifene may reduce the risks of heart disease and osteoporosis, similar to effects of estrogen, without stimulating cells in the uterine lining. Researchers studied 208 healthy postmenopausal women treated with raloxifene, conjugated estrogens, or placebo. Endometrial biopsies revealed estrogen-related endometrial growth in 77% of women treated with estrogens, 15% of women taking the placebo, and none of the women taking raloxifene.

Uterine effects of raloxifene in comparison with continuous-combined hormone replacement therapy in postmenopausal women
Article Abstract:
The drug raloxifene does not appear to stimulate the endometrium as estrogen does, according to a study of 136 women who took raloxifene or estrogen replacement therapy. Raloxifene has many of the positive effects of estrogen without the negative side effects.

Raloxifene reduces impedance to flow within the uterine artery in early postmenopausal women: a 2-year randomized, placebo-controlled, comparative study
Article Abstract:
Raloxifene appears to relax the uterine artery, and may also relax other arteries. This could lower a woman's risk of developing cardiovascular disease after menopause.
