Effects of tibolone on nuclear receptors in human endometrial cells
Article Abstract:
The effects of tibolone on the mRNA content of nuclear receptors, estrogen receptor-alpha and beta, progestrone receptor (PR), and androgen receptor (AR) in human endometrial stromal and glandular cells are evaluated. It is concluded that the majority of the nuclear receptors were not significantly altered, however, tibolone significantly reduced estrogen-alpha in stromal cells and increased PR in glandular cells.

Glycodelin reduces carcinoma-associated gene expression in endometrial adenocarcinoma cells
Article Abstract:
A study of the role of glycodelin in growth and gene expression of endometrial adenocarcinoma cells is presented. Reduction of glycodelin transfection of carcinoma cell proliferation and expression of MUCI and Bcl-X(sub L) is significant because these genes are often over expressed in human cancers.
