Enlarged prostate: Know when to seek treatment
Article Abstract:
Many men develop an enlarged prostate, a condition known as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), which if left untreated may result in damage to the bladder muscle and even the kidneys. Some signs and symptoms including weak urine stream and difficulty in starting urination are presented and it is suggested that treatment decision depends on factors of severity of symptoms, size of the prostate gland, sexual health and the benefits versus risks of particular treatments.
