Feasibility of management of high-grade cervical lesions in a single visit
Article Abstract:
The feasibility and acceptability of immediately treating women with severely abnormal Papanicolaou test results by using a single-visit cervical cancer screening and treatment program is determined. The results reveal that for cervical cancer screening, the single-visit program is feasible and the degree of acceptability is highd in this underserved population.

Variation of breast cancer risk among BRCA1/2 carriers
Article Abstract:
A study to examine the degree of breast cancer risk among individuals who were carriers of the BRC1 and BRC 2 mutated genes is conducted. Results show that definite variations existed in the incidence of carriers developing unilateral or contralateral breast cancer when carrying the mentioned genes.

Screen-and-treat approaches for cervical cancer prevention in low-resource settings
Article Abstract:
A study is conducted to determine the safety and efficacy of 2 screen-and-treat approaches for cervical cancer prevention. Both screen-and-test approaches are safe and result in a lower prevalence of high-grade cervical cancer precursor lesions compared with delayed evaluation at 6 and 12 months.
