How nurse intervention is tackling child obesity
Article Abstract:
Diabetes development nurse Janet James visited schools for an hour each term to promote a simple message about high-calorie carbonated drinks and this has prevented a rise in the children's obesity. There was seven per cent increase in overweight and obese children in the control group, which was prevented in the intervention group.
