A cold reception for Daisy
Article Abstract:
The UK National Health Service cannot satisfy the needs of patients in terms of beds and nursing care. There are not enough nursing staff and patients sometimes have to remain in the accident and emergency department after admission, be moved around wards and see numerous different medical staff. The acute environment of the admissions unit is not in line with the individual needs of patients.
