Endometriosis: correlation between histologic and visual findings at laparoscopy
Article Abstract:
No woman should be diagnosed with endometriosis unless the abnormal tissue seen during laparoscopy is examined by a pathologist. In a study of 44 women, 36% would have been incorrectly diagnosed with endometriosis if a pathologist had not examined biopsy samples.

Harvesting autologous fascia lata for pelvic reconstructive surgery: techniques and morbidity
Article Abstract:
Taking tissues from the leg to use as a graft for treating pelvic disorders appears to be beneficial with few complications in most women. In a study of 71 women, only 13% expressed dissatisfaction with the procedure.

Laparoscopic lymphadenectomy and vaginal or laparoscopic hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy for endometrial cancer: morbidity and survival
Article Abstract:
According to a study of 56 women, vaginal or laparoscopic hysterectomy appears to be effective in treating endometrial cancer. These types of hysterectomy are less invasive than abdominal surgery.
