Lifestyle and aging: your choices play a role
Article Abstract:
Genetic factors account for only about one-third of the problems associated with aging while lifestyle factors contribute to the other health problems. Lifestyle changes may be made at any time to improve one's health. Even heart attack victims who exercise regularly may reduce the risk of a second attack by up to 25%. A healthful diet should include five servings of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and calcium-rich foods.
