Article Abstract:
Inflamation is a protective response by body tissues to irritation or injury and is anormal physiological process. Causes of an inflammatory response can be mechanical due todirect trauma, chemical where tissue is in direct contact with corrosive agents, of thermal due toexcessive heat or cold. Other causes are hypersensitivity, infection, and immunological reactions.Acute inflamation may be of short duration, whereas chronic inflmation can last for severalyears. Pain can be managed by the use of analgesics.

Nifedipine
Article Abstract:
Nifedipine is a calcium-channel blocker that interferes with signals to the heart and blood vessels. It dilates blood vessels by relaxing the muscle layer in the vessel walls thereby allowing more blood to be pumped and reducing the strain on the heart lowering blood pressure.
