Managing safety: introducing QSA
Article Abstract:
The QSA developed by RoSPA is a new means of promoting health and safety in companies. The audit gives specific recommendations for action, allows for performance to be measured using quantitative methods and falls within the framework set up by the Health and Safety Executive. While accident reports tend to criticise after the event, little has been done to help promote awareness of successful techniques to manage health and safety issues, and the QSA should fulfill this need.
