Medicare law starts clock on fixing payment formula
Article Abstract:
President George Bush announced two years of future cuts in Medicare payments to doctors on 8 December 2003. However, the physician groups stated that the extra spending over the next two years will have to be recovered in 2006 and beyond, as the payment update formula was left intact.
