Physicians at Albuquerque, NM's Presbyterian Hospital provided surgical and follow-up care worth $30,000 for free to 2 year-old Gabriela Mantilla through the Healing the Children program. The non-profit organization is made up of physicians who volunteer their services to treat children whose families cannot afford it or whose communities lack the necessary medical facilities. Healing the Children operates diverse domestic and international health care programs to help provide for needy children around the world.
