Menorrhagia I: Measured blood loss, clinical features and outcome in women with heavy periods: A survey with follow-up data
Article Abstract:
A questionnaire survey of 952 menstrual complaints referrals is conducted in order to identify the features of the clinical history that best predict menorrhagic blood loss. The findings indicate that only 34 percent of women have blood loss volume of greater than 80 mL, but the volume is associated with subjective heaviness of period.
