Mental health illness taught me how little I knew
Article Abstract:
The author, after being diagnosed with schizophrenia has completely changed her attitude towards life, as she used to consider herself to be an expert on mental illness while working as a mental health nurse in the earlier stages of her life. She has started realizing that mentally ill people are not exactly vulnerable and are responsible for their actions and hence need extra love, care for moral support.
