Article Abstract:
A study conducted by Alzheimer's Society of 166 patients with dementia showed that 38 percent are still being prescribed atypical neuroleptics despite cardiovascular risk warnings from the Committee for the Safety of Medicines. Article Abstract:
The research presents the hazards of a rare form of PVL-positive MRSA, which produces a toxin that attacks white blood cells and compromises the immune system. The nurses and the other staff should take a lot of precautions in keeping themselves clean and hygienic while dealing with the patients, as they are highly prone to such infections.
