How to avoid the pitfalls of questionnaire design
Article Abstract:
Questionnaires, which can be useful to the UK medical profession, need careful planning. Sometimes questionnaires do not give satisfactory results because the questions are not sufficiently focused. It is advisable to follow an established method of collecting data, and essential that a method be used which relates to the assessment of what is being studied. Presentation can be improved once the format and questions have been determined.

Loft living in the desert: Above Phoenix, a dynamic design engages its mountainside site and sweeping views
Article Abstract:
Manhattan architects Liz Diller and Ricardo Scofidio, of Diller Scofidio + Renfro, proposed a free-range SoHo space for their urban-sophisticate clients as a desert retreat. The one-bedroom loft, called Quadrant House, is really a man-made plateau in the desert at the foot of the mountains, complete with an oasis of water and mediates between the valley and the mountains.
