New guidelines for the treatment and management of people who self-harm
Article Abstract:
The National Institute for Clinical Excellence (2004) has published guidelines on the treatment and management of the patients who self-harm and receive unsympathetic and inadequate health care in terms of their physical and mental health needs. The scope of the guidelines and the issues related to wound care are also discussed.
