Nogo-A-specific antibody treatment enhances sprouting and functional recovery after cervical lesion in adult primates
Article Abstract:
Neutralizing the neurite growth inhibitor Nogo-A promotes axonal sprouting and functional recovery in rodents, after spinal lesion. A study was conducted to evaluate this treatment in primates by subjecting 12 monkeys to cervical lesion. The results indicated that dexterity and sprouting of corticospinal axons were enhanced in monkeys treated with Nogo-A-specific antibody as compared to monkeys treated with control antibody.

Molecular, cellular and functional imaging of atherothrombosis
Article Abstract:
Techniques for imaging aherosclerosis and thrombosis is discussed where particular attention is given to magnetic resonance imaging techniques that enable lesion characterization and allow the targeted imaging of cells, molecules and biological processes. Emphasis is given to the potential contribution of magnetic resonance imaging methods to therapeutic monitoring drug delivery and drug discovery.

Functional deficits in basal ganglia of cihldren with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder shown with functional magnetic resonance imaging relaxometry
Article Abstract:
Children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder apparently have abnormal blood flow in the caudate and putamen, as demonstrated using MRI relaxometry. The putamen regulates motor behavior.
