PAs can lead the way
Article Abstract:
Medical schools should begin to grant advance standing admission to physician assistants (PAs) who qualify. Experienced PAs should be given credit for their career practice and admitted to medical school with as many as three years of advanced standing. They could then earn their medical degree in two years, and their performance is likely to be better than their traditional medical school peers. However, pressure is needed to force medical schools to move away from traditional admissions and accept PAs based on their proven ability.

QSA - a progress report
Article Abstract:
RoSPA's QSA safety audit system is based directly on the HSE document Successful health & safety management (HS(G)65). Dr Trevor Rising, Safety and Environmental Affairs Manager for Hoechst UK Ltd describes the use of the QSA PC system which proved easier to use than originally feared. He felt that the instruction manual to the software could be improved, and that there was a lack of an environmental element.
