Vaginal mesh erosion aftger abdominal sacral colpopexy
Article Abstract:
The mesh that is used during surgery to correct vaginal prolapse may break down faster if a sacral colpoperineopexy is done rather than an abdominal sacral colpopexy. Vaginal prolapse occurs sometimes after a hysterectomy when the top of the vagina sags due to lack of support.
