Pleural effusion: from diagnostic thoracentesis to thoracoscopy
Article Abstract:

Diagnostics include imaging studies, thoracentesis, closed-needle pleural biopsy, and thoracoscopy. The latter technique approaches a diagnostic accuracy of 95%.
