Perimortem cesarean delivery: Were our assumptions correct?
Article Abstract:
The study aims to review the outcomes of perimortem cesarean deliveries to attempt to validate the assumptions that cardioplumonary is ineffective in the third trimester and that fatal and perhaps maternal outcomes would be optimized by timely delivery. The results revealed that published reports from 20 years support, but fall from proving, that perimortem cesarean delivery within 4 minutes of maternal cardiac arrest improves maternal and neonatal outcomes.

On prediction of the cesarean delivery risk in a large private practice
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to develop an easily usable Web page-based calculator to estimate any womanEs probability of cephalopelvic disproportion (CPD) and cesarean delivery (CS) and also to evaluate risk factor for CS in a low-risk primiparous population. It was found that the probability of CS and CS performed for CPD was higher for shorter, older, more obese women with large pregnancy weight gains, larger fetal birth weights and longer gestation ages.

Patient satisfaction with the prenatal care provider and the risk of cesarean delivery
Article Abstract:
The relationship between patient satisfaction with the prenatal care provider and a gravid woman's risk of cesarean delivery is assessed. It is concluded that higher patient satisfaction scores are correlated with a lower cesarean delivery rate.
