Physician appeals award in lawsuit over waiting time

Ty Weller MD has appealed a decision by small claims court that awarded $250 to patient, Aristotelis Belavilas, for waiting for more than three hours for a pain shot. The Las Vegas, NV, physician had a full schedule but he wanted to accommodate his patient who was leaving on vacation on the following day.
