Article Abstract:
Scientists in Africa are of the opinion that the African doctors and the researchers must undertake researches and control measures related to malaria to overcome it. The major financial support has come from the Multilateral Initiative on Malaria (MIM), an alliance of research agencies, charities, aid donors and scientists set up in 1997, due to lack of political will, money and local initiative.

French researchers face winter of discontent
Article Abstract:
More than 2000 senior French researchers resigned from their managerial duties on March 9, 2004 protesting the 'planned destruction of France's research capacity'. According to Gerald Friedlander who resigned as a physiology lab at the Institute of Health & Medical Research (INSERM), dramatic budget cuts and freezes have built frustration leading to this mass resignation.

Winning the drugs war
Article Abstract:
The anti-malaria programs need a strong foundation base not only in technical fields but also in administrative, managerial and funds related fields. In particular, the success of anti-malaria programs involve coordinated action and dialogue between research and disease-control communities all over the world.
