Pregnancy outcomes after antepartum diagnosis of oligohydramnios at or beyond 34 weeks' gestation
Article Abstract:
Pregnant women who do not have enough amniotic fluid have an increased risk of pregnancy complications, according to a study of 6,423 pregnant women. The medical term for this condition is oligohydramnios, and women who had it were more likely to have stillbirth, fetal death, meconium aspiration syndrome and other complications.

Obstetric antecedents for postpartum pelvic floor dysfunction
Article Abstract:
A study evaluated prospectively the association between selected obstetric antecedents and symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction in primiparous women up to 7 months after childbirth. The results revealed that women that underwent a cesarean delivery had fewer symptoms of urge and stress urinary incontinence.

A randomized trial of coached versus uncoached maternal pushing during the second stage of labor
Article Abstract:
A study compared obstetrical outcomes associated with coached versus uncoached pushing during the second stage of labor. The findings suggested that coached maternal pushing is associated with a slightly shorter second stage, though it confers no other advantages and withholding such coaching is not harmful.
