Prevention and treatment of heat injury
Article Abstract:
This article contains some suggestions for preventing and treating heat injury, especially among the elderly. In elderly, old age, illness, and medication can increase morbidity and mortality during heat waves. Data indicate that previous acclimatization, adequate fluid consumption avoid exertional heat injury and those with severe heat injury need rapid cooling and fluid replacement on a continuing basis.

Minimal surgery for treatment of GERD
Article Abstract:
The laproscopic technique is a surgical procedure for treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) patients, which in the hands of expert surgeons provides a long-term control of GERD symptoms. It can be an alternative to life-long medical therapy. However, it causes few minor side effects, such as dysphagia and bloating and diarrhea.
