Three-dimensional ultrasonography in obstetrics and gynecology: preliminary experience
Article Abstract:
Three-dimensional ultrasound imaging appears to be effective in diagnosing many gynecological conditions. Both two- and three-dimensional images were taken of 161 women, some of whom were pregnant. Ninety-one percent of the suspected abnormalities were confirmed by three-dimensional imaging and in 9% of the cases, three-dimensional imaging enhanced or changed the diagnosis.

An isolated intracardiac echogenic focus as a marker for aneuploidy
Article Abstract:
The study is undertaken to evaluate the relationship of an isolated fetal intracardiac echogenic focus in a population of patients with a mixed risk for aneuploidy when presenting for prenatal diagnosis. This isolated echogenic finding appears to be a benign variant and not an increased risk for fetal aneuploidy.
