Progress report
Article Abstract:
In the treatment of leg ulcers, the roles of the nurse and the researcher differ although they both strive for the same result. Whilst the nurse has to consider the individuality of the patient, the researcher tries to negate such issues. Without adequate technology the easiest way to determine rate of healing in leg ulcers is through using tracings and photography. To judge the viability of a new type of treatment a long period of study is necessary, so proof of usefulness during healing time is vital. The individuality of each patient will affect progress and therefore results.
