Red-letter day for women's health research
Article Abstract:
Mary Ann Liebert is publishing the Journal of Women's Health. The Journal is the first multispecialty journal on the disorders of women. Liebert, whose company publishes some 60 other journals, says that her decision was spurred by the lack of women in clinical trials. The journal is a forum for well-run studies on clinical care and wellness for women. Recent topics have included the increase in interstitial cystitis, early diagnosis of systematic lupus erythematosus, and the psychological effects of mammography use. The Journal costs $65 for individuals and $120 for institutions.
