Regret, satisfaction and symptom improvement: Analysis of the impact of partial colpoclesis for the management of severe pelvic organ prolapse
Article Abstract:
A study to assess the regret, satisfaction or improvement in a group of patients of the same age, which underwent a colpocleisis procedure more than a year post operation, is presented. Few patients reported regret, many reported satisfaction and a significant number reported symptom improvement after a year of the colpocleisis procedure.

Effects of pubovaginal sling procedure on patients with urethral hypermobility and intrinsic sphincteric deficiency: would they do it again?
Article Abstract:
The pubovaginal sling procedure seems to be effective in treating stress urinary incontinence. In a study of 57 women who had the procedure, 80% said they no longer had incontinence and would choose the procedure again.

The association of interleukin 6 with clinical and laboratory parameters of acute pelvic inflammatory disease
Article Abstract:
Increased amounts of interleukin 6 in cervical secretions may be a sign of pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). In a study of 20 women with PID and 20 without, cervical interleukin 6 levels were higher in those with PID.
