National Safety Council celebrates the National Safety Month of June 2003 under the theme named "Four Words. Four Weeks. For Life." Driver Safety Week, Home and Community Safety Week, Preparedness Week, and Workplace Safety Week are celebrated to make organizations, families, communities and citizens more aware of and be prepared to prevent injuries and other illnesses.

Safety and health professionals are making our world a safer place
Article Abstract:
Occupational safety and health sector's experts, those participated in different health and safety meetings in United States, express their opinion on safety and health professional of National Safety Council and other service groups. The safety and health professionals have to increase their presence to improve the industrial safety standards.

Safety survey response database can measure program perception
Article Abstract:
The employee perceptual survey by the National Safety Council over the safety initiatives in the concern are discussed. The result showed a high rate of employees saying they have the ability to save themselves and their colleagues when there is an accident.
